Snooker – invented by the English, played by many within Commonwealth countries and utterly lost on Americans. It’s not that we didn’t try; it’s just that we were bloody awful.
The game, somewhat in the pool family, is played on a very large table with colored balls representing various points. The basic idea is that you hit a red ball and then you can hit a colored ball. Well, that’s the idea anyway….
