I’m just going to say what most of the free world already knows…the game of Cricket is perhaps the single dumbest game ever invented. Period.
I don’t blame the Aussies for this abomination. Instead, I save that dubious honor for the English. The Brits gave us so many great things like Earl Grey Tea, the Magna Carta and the ‘stiff upper lip’. But, like Camilla, this game is just ugly.
Today, we spent time with a group of Kiwi Rotarians (aka from New Zealand) for a match. The Rotarians were amazing, as always, and despite the horrible sport they were playing, we had a great time. :)
