Aborigines are to Australians what Native Americans are to us. And, unfortunately, their story is just as difficult and serves as a black mark on history.
However, they were responsible for some of the earliest cave paintings and drawings ever recorded. We made a stop to a site just outside of Peterborough – not known to many people – and were able to see some of these stone etchings up close.
If you ever get a chance to see some of their art in person, it is definitely worth the visit. These may be hard to see in the pictures, but were likely made thousands of years ago.
